A broken Roman "Dolphin" or "Bow" Brooch found in Old Amersham. This appears to have been broken on purpose as part of a ritual offering. Seeing as it was found in a dried up river bed ( The Misbourne ) this would seem to fit well

This is a mediaeval Annular Brooch. It is rather plain but dates back to the Middle ages. This was found at a depth of only 2".
